Shawnee Bluffs Canopy Tour – Zip Line in Makanda, Illinois

Shawnee Bluffs Canopy Tour is located on 83 acres near the Shawnee National Forest in Illinois. The tour consists of a total of 8 zip lines, 11 tree platforms and 3 suspension bridges. Tour participants soar thru the tree-top canopy approaching speeds of 40 mph on lines that stretch as far as 1100 feet. The tree based canopy tour also includes 3 short hikes between launching points.

The Shawnee Bluffs Canopy Tour has no age restrictions but all participants must weigh between 70 and 270 lbs. Participants should allow approximately 3 hours to complete the tour. Tours include professional guides and all safety equipment. Groups are welcome and a group discount is available.
